Dr Barry J. Cox

I am an applied mathematician with research interests in nanoscale modelling, differential equations, variational methods, and mathematical physics. I am currently engaged in casual lecturing at Flinders University.

I have previously held academic positions at the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide.

    Thesis title: Mathematical modelling of nano-scaled structures, devices and materials

  • Predicting properties of nanomaterials using analytical techniques
  • Ordinary and partial differential equations
  • Elliptic and other special functions of mathematical physics
